JerkishBehavior's Top 5: Rap Albums of 2009

In the 5th installment of the JerkishBehavior Top 5 list, the topic of discussion is what were the Top 5 Rap Albums of 2009? Here are JerkishBehavior's Top 5 Rap Albums of 2009...

1. Jay-Z "Blueprint III" The best rapper alive returned to the game and didn't disappoint with 3 anthems as singles in "D.O.A", "Run THis Town" and "Empire State Of Mind" but album bangers were "Already Home", "A Star Is Born" , & "Thank You". Jigga man added another classic to his resume.

2. Fabolous "Loso's Way" was a well put together album and possibly Fab's best yet with a perfect blend of lyrical joints, club banger, introspective, and storytelling (the latter two were a pleasant surprise to Fab's reportoire). "The Intro" is 4 minutes of Loso straight spitting to a dark gritty beat. Album bangers: "Lullaby", "Last Time" and "Miss My Love".

3. Slaughterhouse "Slaughterhouse" saw the 4 of the illest emcees on the planet go bar for bar for an entire album and lyrical they didn't disappoint and most definitely had you put in overtime with the rewind button (Crooked I most defintely stole the show). Album Bangers: "Cuckoo", "Microphone" and "Sound Off".\

4. Rick Ross "Deeper Than Rap" saw the bawsseee create another album filled with bangers and hood anthems that you can bump in the whip for a couple weeks on end and not only that he won the battle against 50 cent by selling more albums than Curtisssssss, unfuckinbelievable. Album Bangers: "Usual Suspects", "All I Really Want" & "Magnificent"

5. Clipse "Til The Casket Drops" saw kings of coke rap doing what they do best spit dope over addictive 100% pure cocaine production. Clipse came with it like always far as lyrics with the crazy punchlines from Pusha T (braids) and Malice with the introspective verses. Album Bangers : "Popular Demand", "Showin Out" & "Champion"
