Hello society, I recently had a panel discussion with some JerkishBehavior colleagues on what were the funniest movies of all-time and broke them down in three categories from the Top 5 Black, White, & Overall Comedy Movies of All-Time. So here's what the trusted panel came up with & without further ado...
Top 5 Black Comedy Movies Of All-Time:
1.Harlem Nights, the unanimous choice by everyone on the panel as the funniest Black comedy of all-time starring two icons in Richard Pryor & Eddie Murphy with the classic line of.."put your mammie on the phone cuz I ain't ever coming home...sunshine pu**y".
2. "Coming To America", another unanimous choice with the classic Eddie Murphy & Arsenio Hall joint where the Prince of Zumunda comes to America to find him a bride with the classic line of..."Let your soul glowwww".
3. "Friday", probably the most popular hood comedy of the all-time which made Ice Cude & Chris Tucker infamous for the roles with the classic line..."I said Janet Jackson not Freddie Jackson."
4. "Life". another classic Eddie Murphy movie starring Martin Lawrence where they both get stuck with each other for life and the classic line of "Motherf*cker, you can't have my cornbread. That's for damn sure. "
5. "Next Friday", another classic Ice Cube joint that made Mike Epps infamous in the sequel to the classic original along with the classic of "Naw you right, they 10s but I keep them clean tho."
Honorable Mention: Nutty Professor, All About The Benjamins, House Party, Don't be A Menace In South Central, & Half Baked.
Top 5 White Comedy Movies:
1. "The Hangover", the instant classic and fan favorite of the Vegas Bachelor Party gone bad while trying to recall the nights events with classic line..."The rainman bankrupted the casino and he was a Ruh-turd."
2. "Role Models" is the hilarious comedy with dudes having to be role models to 2 kids for community service with the classic line.."Hey Ben Affleck. I'm not Ben Affleck. Ru white? Yeah. Then you're Ben Affleck."
3. (Tied) "Superbad" is the surprisingly hilarious and good movie about teenager on there last hurrah as high schooler with the classic line, "I am McLovin."
3. (Tied) "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby", is another Will Ferrell classic with him as a Nascar driver with the classic line, " I wake up in the morning and piss excellence."
3. (Tied) "Step Brothers" is another Will Ferrell fan favorite with his as funny running mate John C. Reilly as his step brother with the classic line, "I'm bout to go put my balls on your drumset."
3. (Tied) "The 40 Year-Old Virgin" is Steve Carell joint that made him infamous with the classic line, "You know what's your problem? You're putting the pu**y on a pedestal."
