In the 5th installment of the JerkishBehavior Top 5 list, the topic of discussion is what were the Top 5 R&B Albums of 2009? Here are JerkishBehavior's Top 5 R&B Albums of 2009...
1. Maxwell "BLACKsummer's night" saw the return of an R&B legend off a 5 year plus hiatus and he returned like he never left with the soulful crooning that women swoon and men jealous. "BLACKsummer's night" was the most true to the genre of R&B which is why it earned #1 spot. Album Bangers: "Bad Habits", "Pretty Wings" & "Help Somebody"
2. The Dream "Love vs Money" was released in early '09 so you probably forgot all about it but Dream blew his debut album out the water with "Love vs Money" which saw Dream craft several radio hits and some classic R&B slow jams. "Love vs Money" was in constant rotation for about a month or two hence its #2 spot.
Album bangers: "Fancy", "Right Side of Brain" & "Mr. Yeah."
3. Jerimih "Jeremih" saw the Chi-town show he was much more than his hit single "Birthday Sex" by showing that he wasn't one hit wonder by dropping multiple hit singles in "Im A Star" and "My Ride". Jerimih shines on slow and fast songs which makes him the prototypical R&B artist and made his debut album the R&B joint of the summer.

4. Alicia Keys "Element Of Freedom" saw Akeys craft her most well rounded and loved album to date by experimenting with sounds and expanding her musical range while still showcasing her piano skills. Alicia Keys had the best R&B album by a female hands down in 2009.

5. Trey Songz "Ready" is littered with club bangers and possible songs of the year from "Succesful", "Invented Sex" and "Say Ahh" which had everybody in the world rocking with Trigga. Trey Songz continues to show why he is one of best R&B artists in the game by crafting hits for the bed, club, and the whip aka the total package no pedro.
