10-11. Air Jordan I Defining Moments Pack 60+ "Bulls vs. Celtics"
Background: The Air Jordan Defining Moments Pack is two Air Jordan's in one pack which signify an infamous moment in Jordan's career where he was wearing a specific at the time hence the Defining Moments Pack or "DMP" moniker and the DMP 60+ is all shoes that Jordan scored 60 points in a game in. So the Air Jordan I DMP 60+ "Bulls vs Celtics" is the first shoe that Jordan scored 60 in and it was the infamous 63 points in a playoff game versus the Boston Celtics. So this pack features one kick in the Bulls and originally banned colorway of Black/Red and the other in the Boston Celtics colorway of the Green/Black.
Reason I Why I Copped: I had a pair of the Air Jordan Retro I's in the Black/Red colorway but they were to tight on my feet so this pack was an excuse to re-cop in a bigger size along with copping the original Green/Black colorway. You can't beat two Jordans for the price of 2 plus the box with Boston parquet floor is crazy along with the stitching on the inside of the shoes with the date and points scored...TOO EASY DECISION!!!
Date Copped: 12/15/09

JerkishBehavior Hall of Fame Inductee: Frank Thomas
The newest inductee into the JerkishBehavior Hall of Fame is one of the best first baseman in the baseball history and my favorite player of all time, Frank “The Big Hurt” Thomas. Frank Thomas was one of the best players in baseball during the 90’s and one of the best hitting first basemen ever because he hit for power, average, and was a clutch-hitter. Frank Thomas had one of the best eyes in the game and was a base on balls (that’s a walk) waiting to happen because he had ridiculous patience to wait for the perfect pitch he wanted to hit. Frank Thomas got the nickname “The Big Hurt” from legendary White Sox announcer Ken Harrelson for his menacing home run power and for striking fear in the competition by swinging a rusted iron pipe in the on-deck circle, who does that? Frank Thomas is a member of the infamous 500 home run club and he also has a home run derby crown that means he hits home runs for fun, its nothing. Frank Thomas was always one of the league leaders in hitting and was one of the rare breeds that won batting titles while being one of the league’s top home run hitters. Frank Thomas won four Silver Slugger awards (The best offensive player at each position) and finished in the top 10 in MVP voting 7 years straight while winning two of them. Frank Thomas was a force to be reckoned with and all he ever wanted was to be respected by his peers while being considered one of the best to do it.
Frank Thomas played mainly for my hometown Southside Chicago White Sox and he is the main reason why I became a huge White Sox fan in the 1st place. I used to watch White Sox games exclusively just to see “The Big Hurt” hit because he was always one swing away from knocking out the park and I couldn’t wait for the announcers to call him by his other nickname “Curtis Maximus” for when he would ferociously hit the ball out of the park and for them to then say the infamous “You can put in on the board, YESSSSSSS!” If Frank Thomas had the day off, I would be hella upset and disappointed and not even watch the game. However, I would always turn back to the game towards the late innings because he could always come in as a pinch-hitter and hit a clutch home run to give the White Sox a late inning victory. I would always root heavily for Frank to win the home run, batting average, runs batted in, and walks title every year. Frank Thomas usually didn’t disappoint because he was always in the top 5 in all those categories and came close to winning the elusive “Triple Crown” (to be the league leader in 3 major statistical categories at the end of the year) but the strike ruined that greatness. Frank Thomas did win back-to-back MVP awards that solidified his spot as one of the best in baseball and in the history books. Frank Thomas carried the franchise on his back for many years and I was so disappointed when Frank couldn’t play (injury) during the 2005 White Sox’s championship run that led to a World Series title because he deserved the recognition of greatness. Nevertheless, he is the greatest player ever in Chicago White Sox history with 9 franchise records and that’s why the newest inductee into the JerkishBehavior Hall of Fame is Frank “The Big Hurt” Thomas.
5 JerkishBehavior Moments 1. In 1993-4, Frank Thomas back-to-back American League MVP awards while almost winning the “Triple Crown” to go with his second one. Frank Thomas is one of only two first basemen ever to win in consecutive seasons (Jimmie Foxx in 1932-3 is the other). 2. Frank Thomas is the only player in history to have 7 consecutive seasons of a .300 batting average, at least 100 walks, runs batted in, runs, and atleast 20 home runs. 3. As a member of the Oakland A’s and his first game back as an opponent of the White Sox, Frank Thomas received a video montage of legacy with the White Sox then proceeded to hit two home runs and received a standing ovation from the fans, WOW, who does that? 4. Frank Thomas is a member of the legendary 500 home run club and he was the first player ever to win two Silver Slugger award at two different positions (first base and designated hitter). 5. Frank Thomas who was still an active player on the team threw out the ceremonial first pitch during Game 1 of the White Sox’s 2005 Divisional playoff series, JERK!!!
JerkishBehavior Ode to “Skip To My Lou” Rafer Alston
This is a JerkishBehavior Ode to playground legend “Skip To My Lou” also known as Rafer Alston. Rafer Alston earned his moniker because skipped whenever he dribbled down the court. I remember when I first heard of “Skip To My Lou” was back in high school, my boy said he had this tape of never before seen basketball moves but it was so next level that he wouldn't even let his best friend borrow it (He knew that he would probably never see the tape again) but I could come over and watch it. Needless to say, my whole basketball game changed after watching the infamous “Skip tape” where directly after we was trying to copy Skip's move and figure out how did he do that. The rewind button, slow motion and vcr got a workout that night. “Skip To My Lou” had an array of moves that were so next level at the time far as playground moves that he had everybody in my school and others across the country trying to pull them off. Skip to my lou caused a phenomenon and made streetball go mainstream. Skip had everyone on the playground trying to do And 1 moves and fundamentals went out the window because he was all about embarrassing cats on the courts now. “Skip To My Lou” made And 1 (the company that distributed 50,000 copies nationwide of the Skip tape) from a fledging shoe company into a household name that spawned more mixtapes, streetball tours, television shows, video games, and numerous streetball legends. Who can forget getting up early to go to buy And 1 shorts just to get the free mixtape of the newest steetball moves to practice and try to pull off on your boys before the tape was sold out. “Skip To My Lou” and the original Skip tape was the reason for the emergence of the streetball culture and And 1 owes a lot of its success to the futuristic moves of one Rafer Alston. Skip to My Lou became an instant celebrity and his playground legend continued grows.
Skip to My Lou is considered to be one of the greatest playground legends ever because he is the only player ever to make the successful transition from the playgrounds to the NBA. Rafer Alston didn’t just make it but has had a respectable and sustained career that is a testament to his hardwork and his ability to know how to play organized and playground basketball. Rafer Alston was known as a streetball legend but shown the NBA he was more than yet with his 3-point range, playmaking ability, and surprisingly good defense. Rafer Alston is now working on a 10-year NBA career with 10 points and 5 assists per game career average that is very impressive. Rafer Alston “Skip To My Lou” is the standard-bearer and blueprint (stay out of trouble, go to school, and work on all aspects of your game) for playground players trying to make the jump from the hardtop to the league. There has been hundreds of playground legends across the globe who have tried to make to the NBA and failed along with those who continue to try and look to one player as there inspiration. This JerkishBehavior Ode is to that player whose playground legend will never be forgotten is the chosen one known as “Skip To My Lou” Rafer Alston.
Background: The Air Jordan XII "Rising Sun" is just a basic all white colorway of the Jordan shoe made infamous by Mike when he scored 38 points in the NBA Finals while having the flu, CLASSIC. The "Rising Sun" kicks caused a stir because the insoles of the shoe were deemed racist so they had to recalled them last minute in order to replace the insoles. So there are some "Rising Sun" kicks with the banned insoles and some with a basic all white insole.
Reason Why I Copped: The only all white shoes I wear are Air Forces so I figured I switch it up for the summer and rock these all white Jordans instead. I will be killing it in the summer rockin these joints with some linen pants, I'm ILL!!!

The newest inductee into the JerkishBehavior Hall of Fame is the baddest white boy to ever step foot on the hardwood and one of the greatest shooters along with basketball players of all time, none than other the great Larry Bird of the Boston Celtics. Larry Bird grew up in poverty while living in a small blue-collar town in Indiana. Larry Bird’s upbringing is what made him one of the hardest workers in the game and the quintessential gym rat. Larry Bird had one of the prettiest shooting strokes in the game and had an array of moves to get his shot off any time he wanted to. Larry Bird proved his status as best shooter in the game by winning an incredible three 3-point shooting contests in a row during All-Star weekend. However, Larry Bird’s under appreciated versatility, unbelievable instincts and one of the greatest clutch performers ever while having no problem talking trash and tell you all about it in process makes him one of the baddest cats to ever put on sneakers. Larry Bird was very quietly a triple-double machine throughout his career while finishing 5th all-time in the category. Larry Bird once had a triple-double at halftime and he was one steal away from accomplishing the Holy Grail of versatility in a quadruple double (This is when a players gets double digits totals in 4 different categories and only 4 players in NBA history have ever gotten one). Larry Bird could have easily obtained it but he put this ridiculous stat line of 30 pts, 12 rebs, 10 asts, and 9 steals in only THREE quarters and sat out the 4th quarter, BANANAS. Bird earned the nickname “Larry Legend” for his legendary trash talking and clutch performances. Like the one time where he went on an unbelievable scoring binge against the Atlanta Hawks that even the Hawks players on the bench was wilding out and cheering for him (which cause them to get a fine from their coach but said it was well worth it). There’s also the time where Bird’s teammate Kevin McHale scored a Boston Celtics franchise record 56 points and asked what he felt about it. Mchale said “It won’t last long because Larry will probably break it in a couple of games.” Well he was right because Larry Legend broke it while scoring 60 points a mere 9 days later, WOW!! How about the time in a tied game versus the Seattle Supersonics where he told Xavier McDaniel exactly where he was going to hit the game-winning shot then proceeded to hit the shot from that spot in McDaniel’s grill for the game. Larry Legend shined brightest not only when everything was on the line but also when it mattered most and that’s playoff time. Larry Legend was involved in one of the greatest one on one duels versus Dominique Wilkins in game 7 of the 1988 Eastern Conference semifinals where Dominique scored 47 points while Larry Legend scored only 33 points but 20 of those on 9-10 shooting came in the deciding 4th quarter, clutch my name is Larry. There’s also the infamous steal and assist versus the Detroit Pistons in game 5 of 1987 Eastern Conference Finals that lead them to victory and eventually the NBA Finals. Larry Legend led his team to five NBA Finals during his career and won 3 NBA championships including one against his career rival Magic Johnson. This is the stuff legends are made for and Larry Legend was exactly that by winning an unbelievably ridiculous 3 NBA MVP award in a row as the best player in the world during the 80’s. For such legendary feats and accomplishments under his belt, the newest inductee into the JerkishBehavior Hall of Fame is none other than Larry “Legend” Bird.
5 JerkishBehavior Moments
1. In regards to white players guarding him: Larry Bird said, “ Do you have a problem with your coach? Did your coach do this to you? Because this is disrespectful and you got no chance at guarding me. At least put a black player on me because at least he has a chance, hilarious. What a JERK!!! 2. In the locker room for 1986 All-Star 3-point contest, Larry Bird told all the contestants that he was winning it tonight and was just looking around to see who was going to finish second. Larry Bird proceeded to win the contest including taking the last shot of the finals and walking off holding #1 to the crowd before the shot even goes in, which it did. Oh by the way, he did all of this while never taking off his warm-up jacket, WOW, who does that? 3. During the 1986 NBA Finals, Larry Legend won his 3rd championship along with his 2nd NBA Finals MVP award while damn near averaged a triple-double with stats of 24 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 9.5 assists, LEGENDARY!!! 4. Larry Bird is the only person in NBA history to have a NBA MVP and NBA Coach of the Year award. 5. Larry Bird never declared but the NBA draft but the Boston Celtics still drafted him as a junior in college but he proceeded to play his senior year for Indiana State University.
